THE FLAIRS have signed with record label BAD REPUTATION in France. 'SHUT UP AND DRIVE' is scheduled for release all across Europe in early November 2007 with a European tour to follow in April 2008.

In the meantime, we're fine tuning all the new songs we're set to record this winter for our 2nd full length album. We plan to slowly debut them at our upcoming shows so come on out to The Media Club on Friday September 21st to hear 'em first!

We will also be filming a video for the song 'STINGER' this month with Big Horn Productions. It's a really fun concept so stay tuned for more details on that!

THE FLAIRS will be performing for ROCK AGAINST DIABETES at The Buffalo Club in Vancouver SATURDAY JUNE 23RD. This is a great cause and there are a ton of awesome performers including Art of Dying, Film & TV Star Scarlett Pomers, Dario Lorina and Eric Martin from Mr. Big. There will also be a charity auction with some cool memorabilia including autographed guitars! Show starts at 7pm so come early!

THE FLAIRS will be performing for New Music West in Vancouver this weekend! Check it out at The Lamplighter Saturday May 5th @ 11pm.

Of course we lied about one last tour before heading into the studio. Although we are writing like mad and intend to hit the studio in the fall, we'll be headed out to INDONESIA again this summer for the annual SOUNDRENALINE festival! More details to come!!

Our bass player Ryan has unfortunately broken his leg so go send him some good thoughts on his my space page here. He's a trooper though as we're still going ahead with our show at THE BUFFALO CLUB on SATURDAY DECEMBER 16TH.

We have returned home safe and sound from our amazing experience in Indonesia. We want to thank EVERYONE there who helped us out and showed us an incredible time. We're lucky to have made such amazing new friends and we intend to return back in the near future.

Our North American Tour is sadly complete. We had an amazing time in each and every city we visited and are already planning another one! We are now off to Indonesia to play the annual SOUNDRENALINE festival with INXS! We return home in late August and will have our official Vancouver homecoming show SEPTEMBER 4th @ THE BUFFALO CLUB. More details on that soon.

We also have a trip planned to New York City at the end of October where we will be setting up the release of our full length album. In the midst of our crazy schedule there, we have a show booked on THURSDAY OCTOBER 27TH @ THE CONTINENTAL. Look for news shortly of a release date in 2006.

We are back from sunny california and ready to take on The Marble Arch this Friday August 12th. The show starts at 9:30 with The Feminists & Mass Undergo.

We will also be taking part in The Big Day out at the Langley Skate park next Friday August 19th. This is a full day of Skating, BBQ, & Rock 'n' Roll. The Festivities start at 12 noon and we are schedule to perform at 3:45pm.

We've got one last Vancouver show before we take a hiatus and head into the studio. The show is FRIDAY MAY 27TH @ THE BRICKYARD. We're on at 10pm and it's the 2nd annual TATTOO CONVENTION after party. More details here.

And of course what the hell would we be doing if we weren't planning another tour! This next one will take us down to L.A. and back for the annual INTERNATIONAL POP OVERTHROW festival. Our slot arrives on SATURDAY JULY 23RD @ GOOD HURT. We hit the stage at 9:30pm. We will be booking shows along the way and on the way back so stay tuned!

We are back from tour and have a big homecoming show booked for WEDNESDAY APRIL 20TH at The Railway. We are really looking forward to seeing all the vancouver peeps again.

We're finally leaving tomorrow morning on our big adventure. Expect updates from the road when we get the chance although if you've checked our schedule, you'll notice there aren't many days off. There are still more dates to be added as well, especially in Alberta & B.C. in late March.

The Flairs will be taking part in *Band Aid - A Tsunami Relief Effort*. For more info on this event click here. All the proceeds from the door will be donated and there will also be some kick-ass raffle prizes. We hit the stage around 11pm on Sunday January 9th @ The Piccadilly Pub. However, this is in fact a 2 day event and there are tons of great bands playing Saturday as well. Check it out!

We're going strong and moving forward with our Southern Ontario tour later this month. We've hooked up with our favorite rock star Robin Black and his crew for a show at Lee's Palace on December 4th. There are a bunch of other dates in the works as well and we are posting them on the site as they get confirmed.

In other news, the EP is finally here and ready for listening. It will be available at all of our shows as well as Her Royal Majesty's Records later this week for those people in cities we aren't hitting....YET!

It's about that time for another road trip. This time to promote our new EP that is being released next week. We will be hitting many southern Ontario cities that will be announced in the next week. For now, we've got THE BOVINE booked for November 25th.

We are taking a short trip to Alberta to play some shows with Bif Naked & Todd Kerns. We are more than thrilled to be out on the road again and are looking into setting up some shows in Southern Ontario in October/November.

We are going to have a small run of LIMITED EDITION EP's coming out later this month. This will be in addition to our full length nation-wide release coming in January 2005. You can get a little preview of the album by picking up the EP which will be available in select stores and of course by us on tour this fall.

THE FLAIRS are taking part in "A Woman's Touch" Fundraiser for The Barc Project. The money is going towards the Vancouver Women's Shelter so come down to The Picadilly on Saturday August 14th to show your support. There are going to be sweet drink specials like $2 shooters and $9.75 pitchers. Along with the fantastic entertainment including Girl Nobody, you can't beat it!

We've added some more shows in February including being a part of Vancouver's 1st annual *HAIRBALL*. Hairball is a rock 'n' roll masquerade party where local rockers become their favorite band for the evening to raise money for The Music Therapy Trust Fund. We will be performing as *THE FLAIRMONES* see if you can guess who we are!! This event is taking place on Saturday February 14th @ The Penthouse along with other great acts like Crystal Jett & The Black Pistols & The Ultimate Cars - GG Dartray!

Come on out and help a good cause! This may be the only chance you'll get to see Gillian with black hair!

The MUDMEN have cancelled their BC shows so we will NOT be playing on December 12th @ the Backstage Lounge. :(

We have however, added another show on Saturday December 20th @ The Media Club. This is a "Girls Rock Out" night so Perfect Strangers, The No No Spots, and Big Muff will also be playing. Tickets are $10 and the show starts at 9pm. We will hit the stage around midnight.

In the meantime, Ryan is laying down some bass tracks right now on the new Flairs tunes! Rock 'n' Roll!

There are THREE new Flairs show coming up in March. The first one is March 24th at the 303 Live where Dawn & Gillian will be competing in an acoustic singer/songwriter competition. Come and support them as we could win big bucks.

We are opening for THE SNITCHES a Montreal based punk band at the Picadilly Pub on March 27th. It'll be a busy night as we are also playing again that night at the 303 Live for another high-charged live show.

We have just gotten the thumbs up to go back into Greenhouse Studios to record 3 more songs. Look for news of an EP release date soon to be distributed all over the world.
